BIOGRAPHY

Pablo Hablo, an artist with roots in Alicante's vibrant graffiti scene from the early age of 9, has evolved into an influential figure in the world of contemporary art. Born and based in Madrid, Spain, his artistic journey took him from the walls of the streets to the forefront of digital illustration.

After completing his studies in Graphic Design, Pablo fused his love for graffiti with a new passion for digital illustration. His work stands out for its simple yet impactful style, characterized by a restrained color palette that evokes the nostalgia of the early digital era. Inspired by the iconic blue screens of Windows, vibrant fluorescent tones, and the pixelated aesthetics of classic video games, Pablo creates a bridge between the old and the new.

For Pablo Hablo, the difficulty of establishing genuine connections and face-to-face conversations in public settings is becoming increasingly apparent. Inspired by Post-punk aesthetics, he uses Retrofuturism to create works that evoke a certain nostalgia for the analog era. With a unique skill, he transforms digital resources into analog format through painting, bringing the digital world out of the screen and into the tangible present of real life.

Hablo tells everyday stories through pixelated portraits that capture the essence of people, relying on the symbolism of the analog era. Thus, he creates a nostalgic journey into the past, with a touch of futurism and technology used in an intelligent and responsible manner. His art not only celebrates the past but also invites reflection on how technology can be consciously integrated into our lives.
